Dr. Jacqulyn Nygren
Dr. Nygren first started New Branch Chiropractic in 2008. After becoming licensed in 2007 Dr. Nygren and her family relocated to the triangle to start her practice. There she stumbled upon Pittsboro and fell in love. Chatham County is much like where she grew up, in rural Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nygren is a graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic and holds a degree in Psychology as well. She has always had a strong desire to help others and maintains that throughout her practice.
Dr. Nygren is a member of the Chatham County Chamber of Commerce, the American Chiropractic Association, North Carolina Chiropractic Association, and has maintained the status of an Outstanding Care Provider through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She has worked with the NC Chiropractic Association in lobbying our state senators for equal copayments for chiropractic and medical. Dr. Nygren and her husband have three children, and are the adoptive parents of two rescue dogs.
Dr. A. Lynn Williams
Dr. Williams has been providing quality chiropractic care to those in need of specialized care since 2001. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and started her chiropractic career in Morehead City, N.C., later moving to Cary to open her own practice. You may also know her from her practice she had in Siler City, where she had the opportunity to take care of some of our existing patients here at New Branch. She enjoyed practicing for 10 years before selling her practice and starting Chiro Temps for Hire, in an effort to provide a very needed service of providing patient-centered locum tenens chiropractic physician coverage to the state of North Carolina. She is happy to have had the privilege of working at New Branch Chiropractic & Health Center on numerous occasions prior to joining us in 2016.
Dr. Williams knows first hand how life changing chiropractic can be. She was first introduced to chiropractic as a result of back pain she experienced working as a dental hygienist. She states, "It was such a lifesaving experience, I decided to become a chiropractor myself, and returned to college to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree."
Dr. Williams loves being a chiropractor. She has been practicing for 15 years and finds it so rewarding to help others. She has training in Thompson technique, Sacro-Occipital technique, Activator, Flexion-distraction, multiple hand instruments, diversified adjusting, trigger point therapy, kinesiotaping, nutritional counselling, Webster technique for pregnant women, myofascial release, and the Palmer package. She is also well-trained in extremity adjusting. The diversity of the above mentioned techniques allow her to successfully treat people of all ages and physical conditions. She is happy that her unique chiropractic approach provides gentle, effective relief of discomfort and renewed health for the entire family.
Originally from the state of Ohio, her heart was drawn to North Carolina, and moved with her husband, Luis, to Pittsboro in 2005. She loves being a part of our unique area and enjoys participating in local events and attending church locally. Dr. Williams and her husband have two grown children. Julian lives in Minnesota, and Fabrienne lives in Florida. She enjoys camping and hiking with her two spoiled pooches, Jack and Delilah. In the summer you may see her and Luis out on Jordan Lake kayaking.
